• Fishers roadwork update: 136th Street detour continues as 96th and Cyntheanne reopens (larryinfishers.com) — Drivers in Fishers face a major detour on 136th Street between Southeastern Parkway and Prairie Baptist Road, plus lane restrictions at 116th and Allisonville and other key corridors. The 96th and Cyntheanne intersection has fully reopened, and resurfacing and fiber-installation crews are active in multiple neighborhoods. Expect changing traffic patterns, closed sidewalks, and extra travel time across the city.
   

• Fishers man charged after allegedly firing shots during Lawrence school dismissal, driving erratically and fleeing police (wthr.com) — A 32-year-old Fishers man has been charged after police say he fired shots from a truck near Lawrence schools during dismissal, then drove erratically through neighborhoods and construction zones while fleeing officers. Court documents describe shredded tires, near-misses with property, and a handgun and shotgun recovered from his vehicle. No injuries were reported, and an initial court hearing is set for Sept. 8.
   

• 'Rock & Relief' concert in Noblesville raises money for flood victims amid ongoing recovery (wthr.com) — Flood recovery efforts close to Fishers got a boost as a benefit concert in Noblesville's Forest Park raised donations for Hamilton County's flood relief fund. With more than 50 homes still badly damaged and many residents displaced, neighbors from Fishers and across the region turned out to enjoy live music while directly supporting ongoing cleanup and rebuilding.
