Crews Continue Search For 6-Year-Old Boy In Flat Rock River
Law enforcement officials say they're searching for a 6-year-old boy who was taken by the current of Flat Rock River on Thursday.

COLUMBUS, IN — Columbus Police officials say emergency service personnel began day two of their search Friday morning for a missing 6-year-old child who was last seen going into the water on the Flatrock River at Mill Race Park Thursday afternoon. Police say the park will remain closed Friday as the search continues for the boy they say was swept away by the current. Crews searched for the boy Thursday afternoon into the late evening.

Indiana DNR, Columbus police, Bartholomew County, Wayne Township and other area crews and law enforcement are searching in Columbus for a 6-year-old boy who Columbus Police officials say was swept away by the current in the Flat Rock Water River Thursday afternoon at Mill Race Park.
