North Central HS and Ripfest diving coach Johel Ramirez Suarez has been arrested on several child seduction, sexual misconduct charges: More

FISHERS, IN β€” An area diving coach has been arrested on several child seduction and sexual misconduct counts, WISH reports. The news outlet says Fishers Police Department reports 34-year-old Johel Ramirez Suarez has been taken into custody and faces 32 counts, including five secual miscondutc with a minor, five counts of child seduction and 22 battery charges. Ramirez was the assistant diving coach for North Central High School in addition to a diving coach at Ripfest Diving, WISH reports.

While Ramirez was a dive coach for North Central, the allegations did not come from the high school. WTHR says most of the allegations come from Ripfest Diving, which is a specialized training facility in the small Indiana town of Arcadia.

WTHR says investigators believe the sexual misconduct began in September of 2015 and lasted until his Tuesday arrest, and police say the investigation began two weeks ago after a 16-year-old claimed Ramirez rubbed her vaginal area while massaging and stretching her. This is just one of several allegations, according to WTHR.
