City of Fishers and Mayor Scott Fadness are providing community members with resources and events in support of a #StigmaFreeFishers.

FISHERS, IN — The City of Fishers is celebrating #StigmaFreeFishers Week through Aug. 13, as a way to provide community members with opportunities to connect with mental health resources and learn about mental health. It's a chance for community members to unite in support of #StigmaFreeFishers. City of Fishers reports their Mental Health Task Force is celebrating the end of phase one of the initiative and welcoming in phase two, which focuses on changing the culture and stigma around mental health.

“We’re excited to celebrate Stigma Free Fishers Week with a series of events the community is invited to attend,” Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness, said. “Phase one made great strides addressing tactical gaps in our public safety agencies, and as we move into phase two, we’ll invite residents of all ages to help change the culture around mental health throughout Fishers.” (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, including including Wow!
