Fishers Police Arrest Child Care Provider On Abuse Allegations
Fishers Police Detectives arrest an Indianapolis child care provider on reports of child abuse: Report

FISHERS, IN – Fishers Police Department officials say their detectives have arrested a child care provider on several charges stemming from alleged child abuse. FPD says 27-year-old Shannon E. Gillen, from Indianapolis, was arrested Friday. The arrest took place less than a week after police launched an investigation into the allegations on Jan. 21, after the child's parents noticed bruises on their child, telling police they suspected their in-home child care provider was abusing their child.
The department adds the parents showed police video footage recorded on their home surveillance system, which showed the suspect's abusive behavior.
FPD says detectives presented the case to the Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and an arrest warrant was issued.
