Fishers Police Investigating After Man Shot Near 113th And State Road 37

Fishers Police are searching for a suspect and are asking the public for any information in this case.

FISHERS, IN — Fishers Police Department officials are searching for a suspect at the center of a shooting that took place Thursday evening in the area of 131st and State Road 37. Police said officers were dispatched on a call regarding a man shot in that area around 7 p.m., where they located the victim behind a business. According to police, the victim is an 18-year-old man from Fishers.

Police said the man was transported to an area hospital by paramedics from the Fishers Department of Fire and Emergency Services, where he remains as of Friday evening.

Police report a witness claimed the suspect may have possibly fled the area in a blue passenger car, and detectives believe the shooting it was not a random attack.
