Hamilton County Has Travel Advisory And Extra Patrols For NYE
Hamilton County is under a Yellow Travel Advisory and officials say there will be extra patrols during New Year's festivities.

HAMILTON COUNTY, IN — As New Year's Eve is underway and lots of people are out and about, Hamilton County Sheriff officials are reminding community members and motorists that the area remains under a Yellow Travel Advisory due to blowing and drifting snow. Officials say the rural parts of Hamilton County will continue to experience snow blowing across the roads, and drifting will become an issue. All should use caution when traveling across the county.
Sheriff officials say the Hamilton County Traffic Safety Partnership reminds community members that if you choose to celebrate the end of 2017 and beginning of 2018 with alcohol, to please do so responsibly and utilize transportation services or a designated driver.
