Hoosier Lottery: Jan. 3 Powerball Jackpot Up To $460M

The winning Powerball numbers for Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, have been increased to $460 million, Hoosier Lottery reports.

If you can safely make your way through the snowy, freezing weather to get a Powerball ticket for the Wednesday, Jan. 3 drawing, you might want to do that, especially since Indiana did not have the winner for the Oct. 2017 jackpot. Hoosier Lottery confirmed the Wednesday night drawing is now up to an estimated $460 million, and the ticket sales cut-off is 9:58 p.m. ET.

You may also want to grab a Mega Millions ticket while you're out since the prize for that Jan. 3 drawing is $418 million. This Mega Millions jackpot combined with Powerball winnings total almost $900 million dollars.

Powerball and Mega Millions tickets are $2 each and can be purchased at any of these Indiana retailers.

Because there was no Powerball winner Saturday, the Powerball jackpot increased to its $460 million prize, with a $291 million cash value. It's the first Powerball jackpot set for 2018.

If you doze off before the 10:59 p.m. drawing, check with Patch in the morning for the winning Powerball numbers.
