IMPD Finds Burned Dog At Home Connected To Shot Pit Bull
IMPD officers also found firearms and drugs at the home where they found a dead, burned dog in the backyard.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — After IMPD officers recently found and saved a dog who'd been shot and left for dead, they found the burned body of another dog near the city's north side Tuesday, WRTV reports. The news report says this took place when IMPD and animal control officers went to a home in the 600 block of Udell Street to execute a search warrant following a report about suspected dog abuse in connection to "Winks," the dog that was saved and now home with an IMPD officer and his wife.
According to WRTV, three adults were detained after police say they found the body of a dead dog that had been covered in gasoline and burned in the backyard, in addition to locating firearms, marijuana and a pit bull puppy who was taken away by animal control.
