Fishers location will be the Chicago area-based restaurant's first central Indiana spot.

FISHERS, IN — Portillo's announced Tuesday, Sept. 26 as the opening day for its first central Indiana locations, according to a release. The restaurant known for its menu of Chicago-style favorites will open at 10:30 a.m. at 9201 E. 116th St. in Fishers. This will be the 52nd restaurant opening for the brand, the company reports, and there are plans to hire more than 150 employees for the new Fishers location.
The company said the 9,000-square foot restaurant will feature a Prohibition-themed interior and drawing décor inspiration from the 1920’s era. There will be seating for more than 200 guests, a seasonal outdoor patio, and drive-thru.
The company adds guests can enjoy all the Portillo’s classic menu items, including Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Italian Beef Sandwiches, burgers, salads and Portillo’s famous Chocolate Cake.
