Portillo's Opening Pushed Back To Sept. 28

FISHERS, IN — Portillo's new Fishers location will open Thursday, Sept. 28, two days after its intended opening date of Sept. 26, according to the company. This is the first Central Indiana location for the company. It will still open at 10:30 a.m., but now on Sept. 28.

“Portillo’s will now open its Fisher store on Thursday, September 28 at 10:30 a.m.," Portillo's CEO Keith Kinsey said in a release. "Some of our essential restaurant equipment was delayed in arriving due to Hurricane Irma and we therefore are rescheduling the date of our Fishers’ opening. We look forward to joining the Fishers community and are excited to serve our loyal fans in Central Indiana.”

The restaurant known for its menu of Chicago-style favorites will open at 10:30 a.m. at 9201 E. 116th St. in Fishers.
