Teen Missing From Porter County Mobile Home Community: Sheriff

PORTER COUNTY, IN — Porter County Sheriff's Department said officers are searching the area of Whispering Sands Mobile Home Community for a missing 13-year-old girl last seen 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8 in Liberty Township. Sheriff's officials said Kaylee Marie Jane Glaze (pictured) was last seen at her home in the 1400 block of Winterpark Drive before she went missing at 11 p.m., as her bedroom window was found open.

Kaylee is described as 4’0', 100 pounds, with blue eyes, shoulder length light brown hair, pierced ears and wearing a heart shaped necklace that says "#1 Mom." According to sheriff's officials, it's unknown what kind of clothes Kaylee is wearing, though she has her inhaler with her.

Sheriff's officials said Kaylee has a history of running away, but Porter County Search and Rescue were called to help assist in the search due to heavy fog conditions and Kaylee’s young age.

Officers said they've been searching for the teen since 11:20 p.m. Wednesday, with help from the Portage Police Department.
