VP Mike Pence Plans Central Indiana Trip To Push GOP Tax Overhaul Effort

ANDERSON, IN — Vice President Mike Pence will make an appearance in Anderson on Friday. The Associated Press reports the Vice President will fly into Indianapolis and then speak Friday afternoon at the Flagship Enterprise Center in Anderson. The Associated Press adds Pence will also meet with local business leaders, community members and government officials during his trip, and will focus on the Republican party's tax overhaul effort.

Democratic Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly is expected to join Pence in Anderson, after having dinner with President Donald Trump last week at the White House.

Pence's trip comes ahead of President Trump's visit to Indiana next week, which was announced by the Indiana Republican Party on Tuesday.
