Woman's Reported Sexual Assault Was Arranged 'Rape Fantasy:' Cops
Authorities discovered 19-year-old's reported sexual assault was actually a "rape fantasy" with a juvenile.

MADISON COUNTY, IN β A 19-year-old female from Pendleton has been charged with providing false information after lying to authorities about a sexual assault tale she reported, which turned out to be a "rape fantasy" with a juvenile, according to the Madison County Sheriff's Office. The Miami Herald reported Marguerite βMaggieβ Wallace's story that she was sexually assaulted while jogging in Mounds State Park on the afternoon of July 3 unravelled a month later when detectives got a break in the case after they looked at admissions receipts from the day of the reported incident at the state park.
The sheriff's office said authorities got a search warrant to find the credit card number that was partially included on one of the receipts, which led them to a 17-year-old Indianapolis male. According to the news report, the teen revealed the truth to detectives and showed them screenshots of conversations with the woman, saying he and Wallace had connected over an app called βWhisper,β and set up a meeting at the state park to fulfill Wallaceβs βrape fantasy,β the sheriffβs office said.
The Logansport Pharos-Tribune reported the "rape fantasy" had been witnessed by another person nearby in the park, who called 911.
