Register to walk, fundraise or both, as money goes towards the Survivor Program, which the humane society said funds the emergency and life saving care for thousands of abused, neglected, injured, and seriously ill animals every year. The Survivor Program also covers the costs associated with rescuing over 200 animals each year who are at the greatest risk for euthanasia in other Indiana shelters. Registration includes the official walk t-shirt, and prizes will be awarded to the top individual and corporate fundraisers.
The humane society said supporters raised over $30,000 in 2017, and this year's goal is set at $50,000 as they thank everyone for their support.
