Allen County appoints Chris Fleischer as emergency management director (wowo.com) — Allen County has named longtime emergency planner Chris Fleischer as its new emergency management director, a role that directly shapes disaster preparedness for Fort Wayne residents. Allen County judge shares new programs to decrease youth violence and detention (journalgazette.net) — Allen County's juvenile court is rolling out new programs aimed at reducing youth detention and gun violence that directly affect families in Fort Wayne. Judge Brent Ecenbarger outlined firearm intervention classes, a new problem-solving court, and partnerships with local groups to address truancy, trafficking, and support for girls in the justice system.
