ā¢ Flood leaves Hagerstown business owner at a crossroads (westernwaynenews.com) ā A devastating August flood left Nettle Creek Ace Hardware and several neighboring businesses in Hagerstownās East Main Street shopping center gutted, with over $1 million in damage and the building now an empty shell. Owner Gary Schuette is working to restore key services, starting with the laundromat, while the town moves to repair the eroding ditch blamed for the flooding and local businesses rally with support.
