• Jury Finds Allen Woods Guilty in 2024 Murder of Tiffany Woods in Hammond (regionnewssource.org) — A Lake County jury has convicted Allen Oscar Woods of murder and a firearm enhancement for the 2024 shooting death of his relative Tiffany Woods near Jackson Avenue and Cleveland Street in Hammond, with sentencing set for October 27. Hammond Police and other agencies were credited for extensive investigative work, including surveillance footage and witness accounts that showed Woods chasing and repeatedly shooting Tiffany as she tried to flee.
