Job Title: Laborer

Salary: $19.85 per hour with full benefits

• Job Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 90 pounds and strenuous work
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to use a variety hand and power tools
• Mandatory CDL Class B with tanker endorsement
• Able to legally operate motor vehicles
• Must be insurable
• Knowledge of safety rules and procedures
• Graduate from high school or GED equivalent
• Must attend and comply with all HSD/SM training courses
• Must pass drug screen

• Use shovel, jackhammer 90-pound, demolition saws and all other equipment needed for assigned task
• Mix mortar, stack brick and block for bricklayer
• Shovel and pick up debris excavated from job site
• Must comply with all HSD policies
• Subject to 24-hour call out for repair work and during rain events
• Restoration of ground and street
• Perform related duties as required

Position will be posted internally from August 5, 2021 until August 11, 2021. If the position is not filled internally, it will be held open for external applications an additional ten (10) working days. The position will remain posted until filled or no more than ten (10) days.
