Hammond City Controller Departs For The Private Sector

Hammond Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. announces the departure of City Controller Heather Garay who is leaving the City to work in the private sector. “Although Heather didn’t have an accounting background at the time, we knew her legal training would help her in her new position and she’s done an amazing job for the City of Hammond”, stated Mayor McDermott “We would like to thank Heather for all her efforts on behalf of the City and wish her well in her future endeavors.”
