O’Connor said the students compete against graduate students, schools that offer more courses in script writing and programs that employ professional script writers who teach courses strictly to enter the competition.

β€œI am very proud of our students who placed in this competition with their script created in a highly collaborative and intense course taught as a live remote,” she said.
