PNW Spotlight On Student Research: Michelle Horton

The recent psychology graduate was accepted into the McNair Summer Research Internship Program.

Recent psychology graduate Michelle Horton was accepted into the McNair Summer Research Internship Program. The program allows her to work alongside her mentor Gisele Casanova, Ph.D. and gives prospective graduate students the research experience needed for graduate school.

Michelle has been working closely with Gisele Casanova in the McNair Program for two years. She stated, “I would not be the scholar I am today without her guidance and support.”

Michelle graduated in December and is in the application process for Ph.D. programs. She hopes to study clinical psychology in the region.
