PNW Student Profile: Emily Weber-Brokke

Her goal is to eventually run for office.

Emily Weber-Brokke of South Chicago Heights, IL is majoring in Political Science and Spanish. Her goal is to eventually run for office in a federal legislature. “I always knew that I wanted to have an occupation focused on helping others,” she remarked.

“I have received three internships through the connections I made with professors, faculty, and fellow PNW students,” added Weber-Brokke. “These opportunities provided experiences that allowed me to gain knowledge and skills in my fields, as well as help me decide what career paths I would like to pursue.”

Weber-Brokke is slated to graduate from Purdue Northwest in December. She said, “PNW offered a perfect college experience for me,” she said. “The connections and relationships I’ve made are my favorite thing about attending PNW.”
