2 arrested, $90K in cocaine confiscated in south side traffic stop
INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Two Greenwood women were arrested Wednesday after Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department found $90,000 worth of cocaine during a traffic stop. IMPD says detectives from the Criminal Interdiction Section stopped a car in the 4000 block of S. East Street just before 5 p.m. with passengers Anna Garcia-Saldivar, 27, and Anna Mendoza, 31 (pictured), inside.
Police officials say detectives found several signs of criminal activity and decided to have K9 Katie do an air sniff around the car, where she indicated there was an odor of narcotics.
IMPD says detectives and Southeast District officials discovered and confiscated three kilograms of cocaine with a street value of $90,000 dollars, arresting Garcia-Saldivar and Mendoza on charges of Possession and Dealing Narcotics.
