HAMILTON COUNTY, IN — Noblesville West Middle School shooting suspect David Moore sat in the same Hamilton Superior Court room Monday morning as Jason Seaman, the seventh grade teacher he's accused of shooting and wounding inside a classroom on May 25. During Moore's initial hearing The Indianapolis Star reports magistrate judge Todd Ruetz scheduled a trial in juvenile court for Moore that will take place on June 25 and June 26.
Patch reported on June 6 that Hamilton Co. Prosecutor D. Lee Buckingham announced the 11 charges against Moore, who also shot 13-year-old Ella Whistler seven times during last month's shooting.
The Indianapolis Star reported that when the judge asked what the Moore wanted to plead during Monday morning's hearing, his lawyer, Ben Jafee, answered, "We're remaining silent on admission or denial," and the judge entered a denial.

Moore's parents sat next to their son while Buckingham and Hamilton County Sheriff Mark Bowen were also inside the courtroom, adding that the teen was taken back to a juvenile detention center once the hearing was complete.
In a June 6 statement, Buckingham addressed why the suspect cannot be charged as an adult, though he alleges the teen "committed acts that would be felony or misdemeanor crimes if committed by an adult."
Buckingham added that the shooting investigation remains ongoing.
