Ben Davis Football Player Rondell Allen Hospitalized After Sunday Shooting
Ben Davis football star Rondell Allen is in serious condition at Eskenazi Hospital after a shooting Sunday on the city's northwest side.
INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Rondell Lee Allen, a Ben Davis High School defensive back and brother of former Ben Davis and IU football player Antonio Allen, has been hospitalized following a suspected drive-by shooting on the city's northwest side, IndyStar reports. The 18-year-old is in serious condition and was taken to Eskenazi Hospital after the Sunday shooting in the 3300 block of Heather Ridge Drive, IndyStar reports. Police were called to the scene just before 11:30 p.m and found Allen sitting in a vehicle, suffering multiple gunshot wounds. Allen was shot in the torso and leg, and was with two other teens who were not hurt when someone drove up and shot at the group, Fox59 reports via IndyStar.
