9-Year-Old Boy Foils Indiana Carjacker With Pellet Gun
The boy's quick thinking scared off a potential carjacker after his dad's truck on Christmas.

KOKOMO, IN — A young boy used his quick thinking to prevent a Christmas Day carjacking while in his father's truck at a Kokomo One Stop Express, WTHR reports. According to the news outlet, the 9-year-old had been waiting inside his dad's Dodge Ram while the father was inside the business in the 600 block of North Washington Street, authorities said.
The news outlet said the boy, Larry Larimore, told WTHR he got scared as soon as he opened the door. That's when he pulled out a pellet gun from inside the truck and pointed it at the man's head (refer to NBC Chicago video below).
The suspect was identified as 32-year-old Ollie Dunn of Lafayette.

Larimore's father, Kevin Cooksey, saw the incident take place and told Kyle Sparling, the owner of the Trailblazer, to get inside the Dodge truck with him and his son, according to the news outlet. The three chased the suspect and called the police.
