Central Insurance Associates, Inc. Employee Receives Award
West Bend honors its agents and the nonprofit organizations they support

West Bend Mutual Insurance Company recently presented its Spirit of the Silver Lining Award to Jim Funk, Principal of Central Insurance Associates, Inc. The award honors West Bend agents and the nonprofit organizations they support for their dedication to delivering a silver lining to those in need.
Funk was presented the Spirit of the Silver Lining Award for his work with Gibault Children’s Services, a nonprofit committed to serving the needs of troubled boys and girls. Gibault Children’s Services provides life-changing opportunities for orphaned children between the ages of 6-20 by providing them clothing, medical care, housing, and education opportunities. Funk has served on the board for nine years and is involved with fundraising for the organization. Additionally, as part of the Spirit of the Silver Lining Award, West Bend donated a $10,000 grant to the organization, which will be put toward replacing furniture and beds in dorm rooms as well as to purchase classroom equipment.
"We are thrilled to shed light on Gilbault Children’s Services and receive this generous grant from West Bend,” said Funk. “This grant will allow Gilbault to continue improving a child’s livelihood and educate them as they grow within our organization.”
