Downtown Indy, Inc. is saddened by the sudden passing of its founding president, Tamara Zahn, who served from 1993-2012.

Her passion for Downtown Indy was unparalleled, which led to national recognition for outstanding urban revitalization, monumental development and unrivaled beautification -- all due to her inspired leadership and attention to detail.

Tamara will be remembered during a Civic Celebration of Life.

Downtown Indy, Inc. has established the Tamara Zahn Downtown Impact Fund, benefiting beautification and innovation in the urban core to memorialize and remember Tamara’s contribution to attracting and supporting young, professional talent.

Monument Circle will be closed to traffic from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Metered parking will be available on East and West Market streets.
