Indy BackPack Attack holds a six-week summer school supply drive with area organizations for IPS and Mayor's Chartered Schools.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Summer is flying by and Indy BackPack Attack is collecting school supplies for Indianapolis Public Schools and our Mayor's Chartered Schools. Indy BackPack Attack's six-week summer school supply drive kicked off June 19, and comes full circle Monday and Tuesday, July 17 and 18, and July 24 and 25. That's when collected materials are dropped off at the IUPUI Surplus Warehouse.
Volunteers 18 and older are encouraged to sign up for a morning or afternoon shift to help sort and package supplies. All donated school supplies will be delivered to the schools, adding to the more than six million supplies collected through Indy BackPack Attack since 1999, as shown on the website.
If you aren't part of an Indianapolis business or organization already involved in Indy BackPack's event, you can drop off donations at any Indiana Credit Union Branch or city-wide Donatos Pizza locations.
