Update: Fortville Fugitive Samual Cravens Arrested In Tennessee

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - UPDATE: Fortville Police Department reports the Bledsoe County Sheriffs Office in Tennessee confirms they've arrested Samual Cravens. The 38-year-old was wanted out of Fortville for three counts of felony child molestation. In a Sunday post on the Fortville Police Department's Facebook page, Major Patrick Bratton said they thank the "U.S. Marshall’s Office, the Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Office, Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office, Rhea County Sheriff’s Office and all of the other law enforcement agencies that have assisted in capturing Cravens." He also said Cravens is currently waiting for extradition back to Indiana.

JULY 19 UPDATE: Officials in Tennessee's Bledsoe County are continuing the search for an Indiana man wanted for three felony warrants of child molestation, reports WRCB in Chattanooga. The TV station reports the hunt for 38-year-old Samual Cravens began just before 10 a.m. Tuesday in Pikesville when a McDonald's manager said an employee called 911 after spotting Cravens across the street.

According to WRCB, Cravens took off running towards woods in the area after someone came and talked to him. The station also reports Officials warned community members to stay alert as the search for Cravens continues, and that the fugitive may have shaved his beard, looking different than his appearance in the photo released by law enforcement.

The Fortville Police Department is asking members of the public to help locate a sexual assault suspect, who was last seen in Muncie Friday, July 14. Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault just after midnight Thursday, July 13, according to Major Patrick Bratton's post on the Fortville Police Department Facebook page. The suspect is Samual Cravens (pictured).

In Friday afternoon's post, Bratton describes Cravens as a 38-year-old white male with brown hair and hazel eyes, 5'10" tall and weighing 160 pounds. Bratton originally reported Cravens was seen walking away from his job in Maxwell, Indiana. That's about 30 minutes east of Indianapolis. The original post describes Cravens wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. He currently has two Felony 1 warrants for child molestation and one Felony 4 warrant for child molestation in Hancock County, as reported by Bratton.
