Free Right Now: IndyHumane's Adoptable 'Pets Of The Week'

PHOTOS OF FREE PETS: Starsky and Houdini are featured this week as adoptable pets at Humane Society of Indianapolis.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Free adoption alert: There are two furry friends featured this week at the Humane Society of Indianapolis, as the shelter's Pets of the Week. IndyHumane's Pets of the Week are a dog named Starsky and a cat named Houdini (both pictured). They're both described below:

IndyHumane describes this pup Starsky as a young, one-and-a-half year-old fun-loving, spunky male dog, who can be adopted for free! "He loves to run zoomies and play with toys, but it takes a minute for him to come out of his shell with new people, so just be patient and you’ll be friends in no time," the shelter said in a release.

If cats are more your kind of pet, this female feline Houdini is three years old and can also be adopted for no fee! She's described as a comical kitten who is playful, entertaining and fun-loving. She enjoys showing affection and exploring. However, the shelter said she can be easily overwhelmed by those she does not know, so a quieter home is best. Learn more about her here!
