Funeral Arrangements Announced For Gary Coons
Funeral arrangements for former Indianapolis Homeland Security Chief Gary Coons released. Here's when, where they're taking place.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Indianapolis Fire Department officials say services for former firefighter and former Indianapolis Homeland Security Chief Gary Coons will be held Friday and Saturday, May 18 and 19 in Indianapolis and Beech Grove. Coons passed away on Sunday at the age of 46 after his battle with Parkinson's Disease.
IFD says the visitation will be held on Friday, May 18 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 East Stop 11 Road in Indianapolis.
The funeral service for Coons will take place Saturday, May 19 at 11 a.m. at Beech Grove High School, located at 5330 Hornet Avenue. The burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Before his death, Coons was serving as manager for Indianapolis' Emergency Operations Center.

He's survived by his wife, Patricia, two sons, Brandon and Blake, and daughter Baylee.
