Update: July 20 Indiana Silver Alert Cancelled
Lake County Police requested cancellation of Silver Alert for Crown Point Man.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Update: An Indiana Silver Alert issued July 20 by police officials in the search for missing male Oscar Wilson has been cancelled as of 9:15 p.m. Sunday, July 23. An Indiana Silver Alert has been declared by Indiana State Police as the Lake County Police Department is searching for an adult male from Crown Point, Indiana, 138 miles northwest of Indianapolis. Police are investigating the disappearance of 69-year-old Oscar Wilson, who they describe as a black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, brown eyes, 170 pounds and black balding hair. According to officials, Wilson was last seen at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 19 in Crown Point and is believed to be in danger.

Police report Wilson was last seen wearing a black shirt, baseball cap, black pants and possibly a black/beige jacket, and may be disoriented and need medical assistance.
