Indianapolis Public Schools Offers Spring Break Meal Program

Indianapolis Public Schools is offering a free spring break meal program for district students through March 30: Details

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Indianapolis Public Schools wants to make sure no student goes hungry during spring break, so the district's Food Service Team members will be serving free breakfast and lunch at more than 20 locations through March 30. The district says the program is available for students ages 18 and younger. The Food Service Team will serve meals inside local IPS schools, at the Bus Stop Café (the district’s food bus) and at a couple of local library branches.

School officials say that while most IPS students and staff will be on spring break from March 20 through 30, returning to their classrooms on Monday, April 2, there a few exceptions. Several district schools will begin the break a little earlier and some a little later. Regardless, the IPS Food Service Team is prepared to serve free meals to our students no matter which days they’re on break.

According to IPS, the following schools have a different spring break:
