Lyft Indianapolis Offers Ride Discounts For Pacers Game Hype

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Planning to watch the Indiana Pacers take on the Cleveland Cavaliers during Game 6 Friday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse or a nearby bar? Rideshare company Lyft has you covered. Company officials say the country's fastest growing rideshare company is offering 15 percent off one ride Friday, April 27 with the code BEATCLE, in an effort to build local fan hype.

The company says that although not required, Lyft users should believe in the message of the discount code when using it as the hometown Pacers seek to advance in the NBA playoffs.

Lyft officials say that for the past two home playoff games, top downtown destinations by Lyft riders were Kilroy’s, Brother’s Bar and Grill, Scotty’s Brewhouse, Prime 47 Steakhouse and Yardhouse.

“We’re thrilled to offer free rides to fans and allow them to enjoy the playoff hype at the center of all the action,” said Cebronica Luft, market manager for Lyft Indianapolis, in a release sent to Patch. “Providing these rides is in support of Lyft’s commitment to ensuring that fans always have a responsible ride home.”

Lyft says the special promo code will be active from 5 p.m. on Friday, April 27 until two hours after the end of the game.
