Alexandria Teen Found Safe: Madison County Officials
Madison County EMA: 15-year-old missing from Alexandria who was last seen Aug. 9 has been located.

ELWOOD, IN – The Madison County Emergency Management Agency reports 15-year-old Hunter Leever has been found and is safe. Madison County EMA reports they were treating this as a runaway case, and tweeted the update Thursday, Aug. 10 hours after Leever went missing Wednesday night, Aug. 9, stating, "@MadisonCoEMA: Update on the runaway from Madison County. The individual has been found and is okay."
The Elwood Police Department have released a photo of a missing Alexandria teen, Hunter Leever, who was last seen before bedtime Wednesday. In a Thursday morning Facebook post, Elwood Police described Leever as a 15-year-old Alexandria-Monroe High School sophomore. Police are asking anyone with information in the search to contact the Alexandria Police Dept. or Leever's parents, Jodi Rebuck-Leever and J.J. Leever, at 765-620-5845.
