MSD Of Lawrence Township: Jayla Smith Named Indiana Miss Basketball 2021

Congratulations to Lawrence North's Jayla Smith on being named the 2021 Indiana Miss Basketball. She is the first Miss Basketball winner from Lawrence Township. Along with receiving the highest honor in Indiana High School Girls Basketball, Jayla was also named to the 2021 Indiana All-Star team and is the all-time leading scorer for the Wildcats. Jayla helped lead Lawrence North to back-to-back state finals, winning a state championship in 2020. This fall, Jayla will be continuing her academic and athletic career at Purdue University.
