Pets, Owners Invited To Yard Sale Benefiting IndyHumane Center

Details for the River West Yard Sale benefiting IndyHumane Animal Welfare Center

From IndyHumane Animal Welfare Center:In the spirit of spring cleaning, leading animal welfare nonprofit IndyHumane’s Animal Welfare Center will be holding a yard sale this weekend for both people and their pets. The sale will take place Saturday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rescue Relief Program warehouse located at 456 North Holmes Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46222.

The River West Yard Sale will have low-cost pet food and supplies, as well as gently-used human wares such as home goods, small furniture and clothing. Shoppers can also enter a raffle for free spay and neuter service vouchers. New clinic patients will also receive 25 percent off vaccines that day. All proceeds will benefit the Animal Welfare Center’s programs.

"Working in Haughville, we see people every day who would rather spend their last dollars caring for their pets than feeding themselves,” said Leeza Kolesnikov, Community Cat Program Manager at the IndyHumane Animal Welfare Clinic. “With everyone in the ‘tidying up’ mode this spring, we figured we could work together to provide help to the people and pets in our communities."
