Terre Haute North Vigo High School Threat: Nothing Found (UPDATE)
The situation unfolded at Terre Haute North Vigo High School early Friday afternoon.

TERRE HAUTE, IN — Authorities were on scene at Terre Haute North Vigo High School for after police received a threat that someone was locked inside a bathroom with bombs and an AR-15 rifle.
Indiana State Police tweeted that troopers were assisting with the threat at the high school and no injuries have been reported. Terre Haute police is the lead agency for the threat.
Terre Haute police reassured the community that all students and staff at the school are safe. Police also dispelled any rumors that hostages had been taken at the school.

In a brief update to reporters, police chief John Tasse reassured parents outside the school but did not provide further information on the situation unfolding at the school.

At a 4 p.m. press conference, police said that after searching the building, there were no weapons or bombs found. A suspect is being sought in connection with the threat.
