Richard Grundy III, 25 More Face Federal Drug-Trafficking Charges

Richard Grundy III and 25 others are facing new federal drug-trafficking charges: Report

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — A man at the center of local murder and drug charges is now facing charges from the federal government, IndyStar reports. The news outlet says indictments from U.S. District Court for the Southern District for Indiana detail new allegations against Richard Grundy III and 25 others from before and after Grundy's September sentencing for dealing marijuana. According to IndyStar, the indictments say the 28-year-old led a gang that bought methamphetamine from Phoenix before storing it in Indianapolis and then distributing it, in addition to heroin and marijuana.

Grundy, 28, is the alleged leader of an Indianapolis gang called the Grundy Crew, and was once charged with cocaine dealing and murder. He was also one of three injured in a drive-by shooting following a July funeral.
