INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Police are asking the public's help in finding a man and a woman suspected of robbery. Detectives with the Indianapolis Metro Police Department are investigating almost a dozen robberies that may be connected to the suspects.

Police believe the robbers are increasingly violent, having pointed a gun at a clerk or cashier, Fox59 reported. The robberies have been over the past few weeks.

Most of the robberies took place in the city's east side, according to Fox59, who reported that the robberies took place at multiple Subways, auto shops and and Aldi.

"People who participate in these crimes, those acts of violence increase, so the probability of them killing somebody or the probability of the violence escalating or being directed towards innocent people at a moment’s notice is likely," said IMPD Sgt. Chris Wilburn, Fox59 reported.
