INDIANAPOLIS, IN - WTHR reports it’s now back on air following a contract dispute with DirecTV and AT&T U-verse. The local NBC channel reports after reaching a fair agreement with DirecTV and AT&T U-verse, all programs have returned to the NBC channel lineup.

The local NBC affiliate hasn't aired on the two AT&T-owned TV services since Sept. 6, leaving hundreds of thousands in Indianapolis favorite fall premieres, and possibly this weekend's fall premiere of Saturday Night Live," and the "Sunday Night Football" game between the Colts and Seattle Seahawks, IndyStar reports.

IndyStar reports no agreement has been reached between the two as of Thursday afternoon.
WTHR's contact with AT&T expired in August, and while WTHR claims to be seeking a deal similar to what other broadcasters receive, AT&T insinuates blackouts are a result of station owners seeking higher fees.
