• Fatal Crash at US 31 and State Road 26 (clintoncountydailynews.com) — A fatal crash at US 31 and State Road 26 in Howard County left one passenger dead and several others injured when a Chrysler Pacifica exiting US 31 was struck by an eastbound semi. Kokomo police and fire crews joined state troopers and local EMS at the scene, and the driver and three additional passengers were hospitalized. The investigation remains active.
   

• Kokomo Man Charged With Molesting Young Neighbor Multiple Times (wibc.com) — A Kokomo man has been charged with multiple counts of child molestation after police say he repeatedly abused a young female neighbor between April and mid-May while supervising her. Kokomo officers report finding messages supporting the allegations, though the 24-year-old defendant denies any sexual activity. A pretrial conference is set for November 10, with a jury trial scheduled December 1.
