Docs: Lafayette man had CSAM on phone depicting children younger than 12 years old, infants (fox59.com) — Lafayette police recently arrested a 52-year-old local man after investigators say they found multiple images of child sexual abuse material on his phone, involving children under 12 and infants. Officers responded to a Richmond Court home on August 23, seized the device, and the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor has requested a $50,000 surety bond plus $5,000 cash while charges are pursued.
   

2. Last minute heroics leave McCutcheon football celebrating program shift (jconline.com) — McCutcheon High School's football team pulled off a dramatic 17-14 home win over West Lafayette at Ellison Stadium, capped by a last-minute drive and game-winning field goal. 3. Healthy Kids Running Series gives local children five weeks to get active and build confidence. (wlfi.com) — Families in West Lafayette can sign kids ages 2 to 18 up for a five-week Healthy Kids Running Series at Ross Hills Park, starting September 13 and held every Sunday through October 11. The program emphasizes fun, confidence, and gradual improvement, with distances from a 50-yard dash to two miles and an adaptive Challenger Division so children with disabilities can enjoy race-day excitement too.
   

4. This Indiana Museum Has a Free Sculpture Garden Hiding Behind a Historic Mansion (myfamilytravels.com) — Tucked at 920 State Street in Lafayette, the Haan Museum of Indiana Art offers a free sculpture garden and wooded nature trail behind a historic mansion that once stood at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. Inside, limited afternoon hours reveal Indiana-focused paintings, ceramics, antique furniture and quirky treasures, while the outdoor paths, theater space and tree-marked woods stay open daily from dawn to dusk at no charge.
