• Battle Ground Golf Club to host IHSAA Girls Golf State Finals (greenfieldreporter.com) — Battle Ground Golf Club, just outside Lafayette, will host the IHSAA Girls Golf State Finals on October 2–3, bringing top high school golfers and spectators into the area. The move from Prairie View in Carmel follows recent extreme weather damage there, and Lafayette Jefferson's traditional regional will shift to Harrison Hills in Attica but remain under Jeff's hosting.
• EXHORDER To Kick Off US Headlining Tour Later This Month; Tickets On Sale Now (wordpress.com) — Lafayette metal fans can catch Exhorder's Tour Of Unsound Minds: Act II at North End Pub on September 26, with support from Intoxicated. The veteran New Orleans thrash band promises deeper cuts, rarely played songs, and fresh merch as they wrap up their US headlining run, which ends in Indiana in mid-October.
• 01215065 HJ Bids W. Laf. (newsbug.info) — Contractors in Greater Lafayette have a chance to bid on additions and renovations to West Lafayette Fire Station No. 3, with sealed bids due by 2 p.m. on Sept. 29. Kettelhut Construction is managing multiple bid packages, with submissions accepted at its Sagamore Parkway South office in Lafayette or electronically through its Pipeline system, subject to prequalification and bonding rules.
