β’ One dead after officer-involved shooting in Winamac, multi-county chase (abc57.com) β A police pursuit that began with an officer responding to a disturbance in Monon ended with a deadly officer-involved shooting in Winamac Wednesday afternoon. State police say a suspect fled from a Vanguard facility in a pickup, led officers through White and Pulaski counties, and was later pronounced dead after an exchange of gunfire. The investigation continues and drivers may still encounter traffic disruptions near the Winamac scene.
