• NIPSCO restores power to most customers after latest outages in Northwest Indiana (nwitimes.com) — Power has been restored to most NIPSCO customers after Friday's outages, but about 79 Munster customers were still without electricity as of Saturday evening. Some Calumet Avenue businesses, including Parlor Donuts, had to temporarily close until service returned, highlighting ongoing reliability concerns after the August derecho. Residents should watch for remaining restoration updates.
