Roundabout plan at 146th Street, Hazel Dell Parkway gets mixed reviews (wishtv.com) β Drivers traveling between Noblesville and Carmel will see major changes as Hamilton County begins a $39.9 million grade-separated interchange and roundabout project at 146th Street and Hazel Dell Parkway. Construction starting this fall and lasting through 2029 aims to improve safety and traffic flow, but some Noblesville commuters worry detours could significantly lengthen their daily trips to work.

2. Noblesville resident launches dog adventure bus service (youarecurrent.com) β A Noblesville resident has launched Zoomie Express, a dog adventure bus that picks up pets from homes in Noblesville, Cicero, Carmel and across Hamilton County for supervised off-leash play on a Cicero farm. The full-time service runs three days a week, costs $65 for the first dog, and focuses on small groups so each dog gets personal attention and safe socialization.

Paraglider arrested after toys dropped from sky during Dan + Shay concert on 9/11 (newsnationnow.com) β Noblesville residents at the Dan + Shay concert on Sept. 11 saw an unusual safety scare when a paraglider dropped toy parachutes over Ruoff Music Center, briefly delaying a medical helicopter's approach. Hamilton County deputies tracked and arrested the man, who now faces a misdemeanor charge for dropping objects from an aircraft, while federal aviation officials were notified.

Jill Virginia Williams (readthereporter.com) β Noblesville is mourning the passing of 89-year-old Jill Virginia Williams, who died September 15 and was known for her selflessness, creativity, and deep love for family. Remembered as an avid golfer, traveler, and reader, she leaves behind children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. A celebration of life is planned for spring 2027, with details to come.
