Snowmobiler Finds Bodies Of Missing Indy Couple Near Lapel

Details released after the bodies of missing couple Heaven Henderson and Jeremy Danowski were found Thursday: Report

LAPEL, IN -- Madison County authorities say a snowmobiler in central Indiana found the bodies of a young Indianapolis coupe missing since December, AP News reports. The news source reports Madison County Sheriff Scott Mellinger says the bodies of Heaven Henderson and boyfriend Jeremy Danowski were discovered Thursday near Lapel, about 25 miles northeast of Indianapolis. He says they were found in an apparent embrace, according to AP.

The couple, in their 20s, was reported missing Dec. 18. However Danowski's car was found at a Lapel park, but several searches didn't locate the couple.

Henderson and Danowski grew up in Lapel and according to AP, Mellinger says a handgun the pair bought last month was found with them, in addition to two shell casings near the bodies, which were partially covered in snow.
